Conocido también como Helecho Australiano. Prefiere lugares muy luminosos. No hace muchas raíces por lo que no es necesario cambiarlo de maceta en años. Riego semanal en verano y quincenal en invierno. Prefiere temperaturas superiores a 15º, temperatura mínima 4º- 7º.

Es un helecho epífito ya que proviene de regiones tropicales y vive adherido a los troncos de los árboles. Las hojas del Cuerno de Alce están cubiertas de una pelusilla blanquecina, NO ELIMINAR la pelusilla de las hojas, ya que puede repercutir negativamente en el crecimiento de la planta. Otra de las cosas más importante para que sobreviva es aportarle humedad ambiental.
